Judge Anita Ashley held Circuit Court in Calhoun County on December 18, 2018:
Prosecutor Shannon Johnson says February Michelle Williams failed to appear for a hearing on the state's motion to revoke her probation. A capias for her arrest was issued.
Williams had been sentenced to one to ten years in the state penitentiary. The judge suspended the execution of that sentence and placed her on five years supervised probation. Mrs. Williams must serve sixty consecutive weekends in the Regional Jail and must make restitution to the victims, Kenny and Debbie Arnold and Jack and Janet Marks in the amount of $17,446.85.
Trudy Dowler appeared for a hearing on the state's motion to violate her probation. She admitted to the violations and was sentenced to thirty days incarceration. Following her incarceration, she was to be released back on probation.
Dowler was connected to the murder of Lewis Bartlett III, 37, who was shot to death on Hardman Fork in July, 2016, charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree.
Jamie Miller, Evan Hersman, and Heather Davis all appeared for trial. The State moved to continue trial due to ongoing discovery. The Court granted the motion and set this case for trial on February 5, 2019.
They are connected to the murder of Eugene Stevens, 77, was killed at his Cain Road resident in 2017, dying in a blaze of gunfire.
Prosecutor Johnson says Christian Cottrell appeared for trial and the state moved to continue due to the unavailability of a witness. The trial is set for March 5, 2019.
Cottrell is facing charges of strangulation, a felony; child abuse resulting in bodily injury, a felony; violation of a protective order, a misdemeanor; and driving revoked for DUI, second offense, a misdemeanor.
Joshua Settle appeared for trial. The state moved to continue due to the unavailability of a witness to March 5, 2019.
Settle is facing charges related to attempt to disarm a law enforcement officer, a felony; obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor; fleeing from an officer, misdemeanor; battery on an officer, a misdemeanor; defective equipment, a misdemeanor; driving while license suspended, third offense, a misdemeanor; possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and destruction of property, a misdemeanor.
Austin Dailey appeared for trial and entered a plea of guilty to destruction of property, a misdemeanor, and no contest to accessory after the fact to burglary, a misdemeanor. He is scheduled for sentencing on February 11, 2019.

Michael Cain appeared on the state's motion to revoke probation. He admitted to the violations. The court found that he was guilty of child abuse resulting in injury, a felony, and sentenced him to one to five years in the state penitentiary.

Aaron Lloyd appeared for sentencing on his conviction of domestic battery, third offense, a felony. He was ordered to undergo a sixty day diagnostic evaluation with the Department of Corrections and will be set for final sentencing when the evaluation is completed.
Michael Hall, Jr. appeared for sentencing on his conviction of burglary, a felony. He was sentenced to one to ten years in the state penitentiary and ordered to make $831.00 restitution.
Dylan Little appeared for sentencing. The court sentenced him to one to ten years in the state penitentiary for receiving or aid in concealing stolen goods, a felony; 90 days in jail for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and 90 days in jail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, a misdemeanor.
