| Charles Tucker, 76, of Rockport, passed away December 22, 2018, at his residence.
Charles was born on March 23, 1942 in Calhoun County and was the son of the late Roy D. and Thelma R. Talkington Tucker.
Charles attended Bellville Baptist Church. He loved working for 3T Construction, enjoyed woodworking and he loved dogs.
Charles is survived by his daughter Shelia Elaine Elder (Lee), of Parkersburg; sons Harland C. Tucker (Tracy), of Rockport, Mark A. Tucker (Michelle), of Davisville, and Charles W. Tucker (Angie) of Parkersburg; grandchildren Ashley Nicole Hurst (Nathaniel), Miranda Stull (Bryan), Mason Tucker (Samantha), Jessica Lott (Christian), Harlie Tucker and Kira Staats; great grandchildren Chase Jackson, Brynn Walker, Nolan Tucker, AmeliaTucker, Evelyeen Stull, Tanner Stull and Tucker Hurst; sisters Marla and Nina Cantwell both of Walker; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Tommy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Sias Tucker; brothers George and Frank Tucker and a sister Delmas Sigley.
Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday December 27, 2018, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg, with Pastor Randy Dornon officiating. Burial will follow at Big Tygart Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday.
