| Rose Ada Ball 67 of East Valley Drive, Glenville WV, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her residence following a sudden illness.
She was born January 21, 1951 in Cabin Creek, Kanawha County WV, daughter of the Thelma Webb Conley of Smithers, WV; and the late John Conley.
Rose was an energetic, kind hearted, full of life women who had a passion for animals, shopping, vacations in Myrtle Beach, SC; and most of all a love for her family that couldn't be matched. She is a graduate of Montgomery High School, class of 1969 and was currently employed at the Pizza Hut in Glenville, with 20 years experience.
Rose is survived by her loving husband of almost 40 years, James W. Ball, her son, James W. Ball Jr. and wife Laura, grandchildren, Layla, James III, and another grandson, due in June of 2019.
Also surviving are 2 brothers, John Conley and wife Doni, Donald Conley and wife Kathy, 2 sisters, Joyce Levenson and husband Les, and Tina Ford and husband Jeff, 7 nieces, 7 nephews, and many other family and friends.
Along with her father, Rose is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Gerald Russell Ball Sr; brother-in-law, Gerald Russell Ball Jr; as well as aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc, 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadow Lane Cemetery near Glenville. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the mortuary in Glenville.
