| It's a gala holiday event for the community.
The Calhoun Cabaret is having their second annual Christmas Show, entitled "Dear Santa," on December 22nd at 7 p.m. and December 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Arnoldsburg Community Building.
It will be a family friendly performance featuring dance, singing, theater, and more, a holiday gala.
Admission is $5 and there will be a 50/50 drawing. Concessions will be sold during intermission.
These performances are exciting for many reasons. In addition to many other acts, there will be debut performances by the Junior Cabaret members. This group ranges in age and is composed of members who have just started dancing with the Cabaret. For many of them, this will be their first time performing.
Included is a benefit drive for the residents of Long Term Care at Minnie Hamilton. We are asking guests to donate items such as shampoo, spray deodorant, nail clippers, baby oil, denture cleaning tabs and adhesive, throw blankets, tissues, lotion, toothbrushes, and other personal care items.
These items will be accepted at the door during each performance. Calhoun Cabaret will be delivering these gifts to the residents on Christmas Day.
