| Edgar "Tony" Jones, 84 of Parkersburg WV passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 Surrounded by his loving family after an
extended illness.
He served in the United State Army and was
retired from Corning Glass of Parkersburg WV after 39 years of service. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary (Williamson) Jones;
daughter Betsy Merluzzi; grandchildren, Sarah Callihan and Ryan Merluzzi; great grandchildren, Jared and Katie Whytsell and Alyssa Deatoh; and sister Ruth Woolard.
In addition to his parents Robert and Alice (Harpr) Jones; he was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wed, Dec. 5, 2018 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth.
Visitation will be from noon until time of the service on Wed.
Interment will be at Bethesda Baptist Church (Thorn Addition) of Palestine WV. |
