| Dalton Parsons, age 81, of Straight Creek, WV in Wirt County, passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018 at Minnie Hamilton Health System after a short illness.
He was born on December 31, 1936 in Calhoun County to the late Gathie and Joseph Parsons.
Dalton enjoyed the outdoors and watching his farm animals.
He is survived by one brother, Teddy (Jo Ann) Parsons of Brohard, WV; one nephew, one niece, two great nieces, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his parents Dalton was proceeded in death by one brother, Henry Parsons, and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held for Dalton on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of service at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV. Interment will be in the Parsons/Lambert cemetery at Crummies Creek in Calhoun County, WV.
