| Merida Ellen McCumbers, 79, of Monticello, Indiana, died
November 14, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.
Born in Greenbriar County WV, she was the daughter of
Charles Luther and Letha Parsons Gould.
She had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area since 1992, moving from Kent, Ohio.
Her funeral is November 19, 2018 at 2 p.m., Celebration of Life Service at the Grace Community Baptist Church, 301 S. Beach Drive, Monticello, Indiana, with the Rev. Gary Roberts of the Grace Community Baptist Church of Monticello, burial Hughes Cemetery.
Merida was an active member of the Grace Community Baptist Church of Monticello. She had a very strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Merida loved and adored all her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly and dearly missed by all and everyone.
MOn May 27, 1955, in Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, she married Denzil L. McCumbers, whi passed away on March 11, 1990.

six and a half great grandchildren,
Micaila Cooley of Monticello, Indiana,
Imrie Sherrick of Monticello, Indiana,
Bentleigh Sherrick of Monticello, Indiana,
Aubrielle Sherrick of Monticello, Indiana,
Remy Ake of Olympia, Washington,
Harper Hudson of Monticello, Indiana, and
Baby Hudson to come in December.
