| Olive Virginia Ross, 99, of Left Hand, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
She was born November 22, 1918 at Left Hand, the daughter of the late Josiah Preston and Sally Maude Carper King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edison Ford Ross; siblings, Hattie Salser, Harry King, Ruby Snodgrass, Frank King, Rex King, J.P. "Bob" King Jr., Roy King and Quentin King.
Olive was a member of the Left Hand Baptist Church and the Linden Chapter No. 152, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Guy McKown of Left Hand and Jane Ann Conley and Bob Barickman also of Left Hand; grandchildren, Robin Simmons, Kelly Mulvene, Mark McKown; great grandchildren, Katie Marshall, Hailey Simmons, Hannah McKown, Madison Mulvene, Krislyn Abbott and Gaige Abbott; great great grandchildren, Rylan Simmons and Adelynn Marshall.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Zion Hill Baptist Church, Elana, with the Rev. Ron Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the Elana (Zion Hill) Cemetery.
The visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
