Stephen Blair Marks, age 77, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018, at Pomerene Hospital Millersburg, OH.
He was born June 18, 1941, in Sand Fork, WV.
He was the youngest of 13 children of the late John Marks and Nellie (Burkhammer) Marks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Charlotte and son John, as well as 11 of his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice Marks; daughter Sheila and Russell Falls of Millstone, WV, daughter Sondra Jackson of Wheeling WV and daughter Heather Marks an Art teacher in Mansfield Ohio; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild, and one sister Barbra Greathouse.
Stephen was an avid storyteller, history buff, cook and banjo player as well as a veteran of the Vietnam war.
Calling hours will be at Gresser Funeral Home 415 North Elm Orrville, Ohio on Wednesday, October 31st from 9-11 a.m. with service and procession to Crown Hill Cemetery to follow. |
