| Roger Lee Burdette, 53, Mt. Alto, West Virginia formerly of Harmony, West Virginia born on November 22, 1964 passed away October 11, 2018 at Charleston Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by mother, Gatha McKown and step-father Glenn McKown of Harmony; grandparents, Burl and Sarah Payne of Speed, West Virginia and brother, James Bush of Walton, West Virginia.
He is survived by his companion, Rosco Cottrell of Mt. Alto; brothers, William (Cheta) Deel of Walton, Timothy (Ruth Ann) Burdette of Clendenin, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday October 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the McKown's Cemetery at Mt. Herman Cemetery on Cox's Fork at Harmony with Pastor Joe Cantley officiating.
There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.
