Richard Ray Perrin, 78 of New Philadelphia, Ohio passed away on October 1, 2018 at the Summersville Regional Hospital in Summersville, West Virginia.
He was born September 17, 1940 in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Franklin and Pauline Perrin. He was a member of the New Pointe Community Church in Dover, Ohio; a retired truck driver; a veteran of the US Marine Corps; and enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Bates) Perrin whom he married on November 27,1966; and a brother Mike Perrin.
He is survived by special friend and companion, Polly Patin-Mellor; one daughter, Talitha Mattox of Westerville, Ohio; two sons Bernie Perrin of Lancaster, Ohio and Michael (Jessica) Perrin of New Concord, Ohio; sisters, Deb (Dan) Garber and Sandy (Bill) Miskofsky; 8 grandchildren, Keri Entwistle, Rashelle, Josh and Tim Mattox, Deanna Perrin, and Sydney, Adam and Olivia Perrin; 9 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday October 6, 2018 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia with Pastor John Price officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, Reedy, West Virginia. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. |
