Master Chief Petty Officer Paul Edward Drennen Jr. of Spencer, WV made his journey to heaven on 9-15-18 at his home surrounded by family.
"Hooker" graduated from Walton High School in 1974. Paul retired from the U.S. Navy in 1993 after serving 20 years. He was honored to serve his country and considered it a privilege. He then retired from the U.S. Postal Service, serving as Post Master in Chloe, WV.
Born April 10,1956. He was the son of Paul and Garnett Drennen.
Paul loved life and family. With a funny story and a kind word for everyone. He enjoyed spending time sitting on the front porch visiting, football, playing his guitar, football, fishing, football, and did I say football LETS GO MOUNTAINEERS !!!!
Paul is survived by his loving wife Anna Drennen, two daughters Jenn (Jay Blackwell) MacLeod, and Hannah Drennen both of Rhode Island, Tyrell Frame and son by choice Timothy McGlothin of Spencer, four granddaughters, Jocelyne, Savannah, Cierra, and Lacie. Six sisters and one brother; Carol(Barry) Showalter and Lisa (Jeff) Walker of Florida, Barb (Steve) Martin and Paula (Bob) Florian of Ohio, Janet (Nathan) Hall, Ed (Diana) Drennen, and Linda Dennis of West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Sr & Garnett Drennen, two sister Mary Oelling, Bonnie Westfall, niece Julie Hall, and great nephew Devon.
Paul requested a private service on the front porch. It was held on Sunday 9-16-2018.
