Ruby Elnora Starcher, 78, of Looneyville, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville.
She was born August 14, 1939 at Philippi, the daughter of the late Erman and Audra Van Buren Bourne.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roland Bourne.
Survivors include her husband, of 57 years, Melvin Ray Starcher, whom she married December 3, 1960; daughter and son-in-law, Lorna and Ed Hill of Massillon, Ohio; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Priscilla Starcher and Edward and Marjorie Starcher also of Massillon, Ronald and Kara Starcher of Looneyville; ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a niece, who was like a sister, Patrice and Jeff Collins of Grafton.
Mrs. Starcher was a retired employee of Wayne Dalton Door, Inc., Dalton, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Carl Marks officiating. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery, Beech. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.
