On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, Marcus Lee Sigman, 14, was chosen by the lord to start his search for that big honey hole in the sky. Which he has undoubtedly tested every water hole in site. On March 26, 2004 our family was blessed with two beautiful babies. Marcus and his twin brother and partner in crime, Mason. Marcus grew into a handsome young man, he however was never alone. If you saw Marcus, Mason wasn't far behind.
Marcus enjoyed playing football, playing in the creek, if you couldn't find him, you for sure knew he was doing what he loved, fishing. He loved his family as much as they loved him. He attended Clay and Calhoun Schools, where he acquired many friends. He had a smile that was contagious, but You knew he was up to something when you saw his crooked smile. He had a heart of gold.
Marcus is survived by his mother Monica (Kenneth) Nicholas; father Jerry (Geneva) Sigman; siblings, whom he loved and cherished so much, Logan Allen, Mason Bouie, and Kayleigh Lynn Sigman; also 4 step brothers; aunts and uncles, Aunt K and Uncle A (Kari and Andrew), Aunt Nana (Kourtney) and Dakota, Uncle Skyler (Kaitlyn) Sears, Uncle Nate and Brittany Sigman; grandparents: Terry (Denny) Fowler, Donald Tallhammer, Doris Sigman, Gregory (Susan) Sigman; great- grandparents, Thelma (Jerry) Carte and Nancy Sigman; cousins, Mia and Cain Sigman, Kole and Duke Persinger; step-grandparents, Timothy and Dawn Nicholas, Denny Sr. and Mary Fowler. He is proceeded in death by his great-grandparents, Gary Jarvis, Ronald Sigman, and Thelma Sears.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. on September 9, 2018 at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc. in Arnoldsburg, WV with Pastor Geoffrey Hamrick officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-3 p.m. Interment will follow at Coen Cemetery located in Nebo, WV.
