| Jesse Lee Powell, 37, of Palestine WV, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018.
He was the son of Mark and Karen (Somerville) Powell.
Jesse was a 1999 Graduate of Wirt County High School, and worked for
Asplundh Tree Services of Harrisville, WV. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his daughter.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter Jasmine Powell of Palestine; one brother Ed (Jessie) Powell of Sandyville; grandmother Cisley Somerville of Slate;
grandfather Clair "Ed" Powell of Elizabeth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, David M. Somerville and grandmother, Margaret Powell.
Services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday August 27, 2018 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of ELizabeth with the Rev. John Watkins officiating. Visitation will be Sunday August 26,from 1 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 4 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be held at a later date.
