| "The Calhoun EMS Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mr. Doug Conrad has been named Director of Calhoun EMS, Inc. after a lengthy interview process that included three separate days of interviews and a practical exercise," says 911/OES Director Julie Sears.
Conrad has 30 years of experience in emergency medical services, including 29 years as a paramedic, currently an employee of Healthnet.
Sears said he is no stranger to Calhoun County, having worked for various EMS agencies that have served the county.
His past supervisory experience includes being the Medical Command Supervisor for the State Medical Coordination Center through WV RETI as well as a supervisory paramedic for other organizations.
"His vast network of contacts in the WV EMS community will serve the county well," said Sears, having worked closely with the county's fire departments.
"They are excited to work together in the future," Sears concluded.
