After graduating from Normantown High School, Patricia became a life-long care giver. She remained at the old farm house to care for her father until his death in 1968. After which, she moved to Grantsville and worked at Calhoun General Hospital (now, Minnie Hamilton Health System.) until she married Denzil Leach in 1979.

Throughout her married life, she provided nursing care for several family members and most residents on Johnson Street. Peepsie never met a child (or anyone for that matter) that did not love her instantly. She spent the last years of her life attending Bethlehem Baptist Church on Rt. 5.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gene Johnson officiating.
