Carol E. Foreman, 72, of Spotsylvania, Va., formerly of Walton, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Va.
She was born July 26, 1946 at Spencer, the daughter of the late Orville F. and Pauline M. Riley Canterbury.
Carol enjoyed planting flowers in the garden. She was an avid sports fan, whether it be watching her granddaughter play basketball or grandson racing his bike in motocross, she was always there and cheering them on. Her inabilities for being able to move around freely did not stop her from traveling state to state to support every one of her grandchildren. It didn't matter where she was, everyone knew and loved her. She was the team grandma. She and Ronnie have been married for 52 years and have never left each other's side.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie R. Foreman of Spotsylvania; daughter and her fiancé, Paula Feducia and Greg Wilson of Spotsylvania; grandchildren, Michael C. Ross of Spotsylvania, Senior Airman, Taylor N. Feducia of San Antonio, Texas and Tristen H. Feducia of Spotsylvania; great grandson, Trevor M. Ross also of Spotsylvania; brother Paul Smith of St. Albans.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6 at the Droddy Canterbury Cemetery, Walton, with the Rev. Jerry Board officiating.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer.
