Ruie Bond, 99, of Grantsville, WV went home to her Lord on Aug 1, 2018.
Ruie was born on March 17, 1919 in Gilmer County, WV to the late Charles Marion and Dora Ann (Rogers) Lewis.
Ruie worked hard as an LPN and finished her nursing career as an in home health care giver. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was also especially fond of the glitter and glam of her adornments.
Ruie is survived by 1 daughter, Mary Sue and Sanford Blair of Vienna, WV; 1 son, Ted Kent and Ginger Bond of Sutton, WV.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Elmer K. Bond; 3 sons, Charles, Ronald and Gary Cain; 1 daughter Linda Cain; and 16 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Church officiating. Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of service. Interment will be in Mt. Liberty Cemetery.
