The National Weather Service in Charleston said a flash flood warning is in effect until 12:30 p.m. Friday for portions of Calhoun, Wirt, Roane and Jackson counties in West Virginia.
Ripley Road in Jackson County on the Roane and Jackson county line near the Roane-Jackson Technical Center has flooding, Roane 911 said.
The warning is for northwestern Calhoun, Wirt County, northwestern Roane and eastern Jackson.
Calhoun 911 said at noon they had no reports of flooding.
Flash flooding has been reported in several counties. |
