| Derrick Allen Hogue, 27, of Walton West Virginia passed away on July 13th 2018 in Braxton County, West Virginia in a tragic accident.
Derrick was born in Spencer, West Virginia on May 30, 1991. He was employed by Key Energy Services.
Derrick is survived by his loving wife Jennifer Hogue, his son Gunner Hogue; by his parents Russell and Kitty Hogue of Newton; a brother Rusty (Lydia) Hogue of Spencer; father and mother in law Jeff and Melinda Parsons of Walton; a brother in law Jeffrey (Heather) Parsons of Walton; 2 sisters in law, Hilliary Parsons (Brad) of Spencer, Ashley (Jordan) Mills of Parkersburg; 3 Nieces: Scarlett, Jaelyn, and Hadley; 3 nephews: Nathan, Jacob, and Tyler; best friend Shaun (Wally) Walters of Newton; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Derrick was a hard worker and did everything he could to provide for his family. His family meant the world to him. He will be remembered by his contagious smile and humorous personality by all who have met him.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. Private family burial will follow in the Hogue Cemetery near Walton. Visiting is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
