Jeremy Allen Perkins, 41, of Spencer, died July 14, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia after an extended illness.
He was born February 23, 1977 in Spencer, the first son of Stanley and Judy (Haverty) Perkins.
He was preceded in death by great grandparents Earl & Elizabeth Webb and Harold & Vera Boyles; grandparent, June Haverty Davis; and uncle, Gordie Haverty.
Jeremy is survived by his fiancée, Jamie Caldwell and her son Caden; his parents, Stanley & Judy Perkins; his brother and family Chad, Nona, Hattie and Jude Perkins; his grandparents, David & Dorothy Perkins; and many close friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At his heart, Jeremy was an outdoorsman. From a young age, he was always outside hunting, fishing, trapping, and riding anything with wheels. This passion for the outdoors and hunting lasted throughout his life with countless deer and even a few bear spotted by his keen eye for wildlife.
A private ceremony will be held to spread his ashes on the family farm that he knew so well. Condolences may be sent directly to the family or to the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, 406 Market Street, Spencer, WV 25276.
