Gary Nichols, 63, of Gandeeville, West Virginia passed away July 13, 2018 at his home. He was welcomed into his heavenly home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was born November 18, 1954 a son of the late Paul and Dixie Lea Nichols. Gary was retired from Laborer's Local 894 of Akron, Ohio. He was a deacon at Mt. Herman Church in Gandeeville for 29 years. He was a Christian and loved and served his Jesus for 43 years. His family and his church family were very important to him and he loved them all dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy Nichols; three children, Dixie Nichols (Tim Simms), Adam Nichols (Erika) and Andy Nichols (Jessica), all of Gandeeville; ten grandchildren, Alex, Zachary, Isaac, Austin, Joshua, Elias, Haley, Matthew, Emma and Josiah, all of Gandeeville; one brother, Ronzel Nichols of Gandeeville; and five sisters, Kay Drake and Janet Tanner of Gandeeville, and Pauletta Williams, Donna Hall and Louise Whiting of Spencer, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Nichols and one sister, Thelma Summers.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the White Cemetery in Cicerone, West Virginia. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements. |
