| Lenna Cleo Carpenter, 79, of Looneyville, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at home.
He was born June 24, 1938 in Calhoun County, a son of the late Commodore and Eulah Eugene Tanner Carpenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Michael Carpenter; and a sister, Evelyn Husk.
Survivors include his companion, of 38 years, Lora O'Dell of Looneyville; two half-brothers, Timmy Carpenter and Danny Carpenter both of Calhoun County; special friends, Leonard Eugene and Opal Lea O'Dell.
Lenna was a retired farmer.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 23 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. David C. Young officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. The family will receive friends from noon - 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
