| Helen R. Ramsey, 85 of Spencer, died Friday, June 15, 2018 at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
She was born January 2, 1933, at Ravenswood, a daughter of the late Harvey and Edith Bowman Bennett.
Helen retired from Ravenswood Village, where she had worked as an LPN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Don Ramsey; daughter, Donna Jones; and two infant sons.
Survivors include her sons, Don Ramsey, Jr and, Tony Ramsey both of Spencer; daughters, Gloria Price of Tuscaloosa, AL, Cindy Smith and Edith Ramsey, both of Spencer. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, at the Spencer Advent Christian Church, Spencer, with Pastor Don Ramsey, Jr. officiating. Burial in the Ramsey Family Cemetery will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer.
