Danny Eugene Laxton, 71, of Grantsville, died June 5, 2018 at home.
He was born June 11, 1946 at Elkview, a son of the late Ulysses McKinley and Cora May King Laxton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Wilt Laxton; five sisters and three brothers.
Danny was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Ratliff of Glenville; son, Danny Laxton, Jr. of Pierpont, Ohio; stepdaughter, Jennifer Rogers of Evans; stepson, Steven McGinnis of Amma; brother, Ulysses Laxton of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9 at the Dundon Cemetery, Clay, with the Rev. James Rapp officiating. There will be no visitation.
