| Tropical Depression Alberto is crossing over the region.
The NWS has not issued any severe warnings for the area, but officials said rain and thunderstorms are expected to increase in the area Wednesday night with the center of Alberto now straddling the Illinois/Indiana border.
Predicted thunderstorms could become severe, with damaging winds and heavy downpours that could cause spot, flash flooding, officials said. The forecast will exist through Friday afternoon. |
