Fifth graders from Mrs. Stump and Ms. Sampson's homerooms and the Middle School Student Council had the opportunity to deliver supplies to the Roane County Animal Shelter.
These classes were given this opportunity because during a school wide competition they donated the most supplies. After delivering the supplies students were given guided tours throughout the facility.
Students learned about the process of adopting a pet, the day-to-day operations, and some of the special animals currently at the shelter.
