| WOMAN SHOT - Dunbar police said a homicide investigation is under way after the body of a woman was found, and she appeared to have been shot.
Dunbar police responded about 7 a.m. Tuesday to the 200 block of Roxalana Hills Drive after a report that some suspicious items had been discovered in the parking lot. Officers located several items lying in the parking lot that had blood on them, along with bullet casings.
While conducting search of the area, officers found the body of an unidentified African American female who appeared to have been shot.
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office was called to assist with the investigation.
