4/30/2018 - Calhoun firemen fought a rapidly expanding forest fire Monday evening which started along State Rt. 16, about one mile south of the Arnoldsburg "Y."
The Arnoldsburg, Upper West Fork and Grantsville VFDs responded to the fire at 4:30 p.m.
The fire, likely started from a cigarette, quickly took up a steep hillside and burned a few acres.
Firemen were on scene for about three hours, but were then called back because of a rekindle. |
