WINTER WEATHER AND ACCIDENTS - Hand In Hand

(01/15/2003)
Intermittent snow, wet and slippery roads, likely contributed to a least two incidents in the county.

No one was injured in a truck roll-over at Chloe just before noon yesterday. Calhoun EMS and the Upper West Fork VFD responded to the call at 11:54 a.m.

The Sheriff's Department and Calhoun EMS responded to a call on Phillips Run, Route 16 south of Grantsville, after a truck apparently went out of control at 3:15 p.m., jumped the creek and landed in a meadow. The driver and vehicle left the scene.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the teens most of the week.
