| Gloria Gray Slider Shock, 80, of Millstone, West Virginia died April 22, 2018 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care in Grantsville, West Virginia.
She was born September 25, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia a daughter of the late Helma Thomas and Lova Ann Starcher Slider. She was a homemaker.
Gloria is survived by her husband, William T. "Bill" Shock; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas "Tom" and Ellen Shock, also of Millstone; a daughter, Scarlett Hinton of Parkersburg, West Virginia; a brother, Lafawn Slider of Charleston; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle; and two sisters, Lola May and Deordre.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00am Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Calhoun County. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia is in charge of arrangements for the Shock family. There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. |
