| Roger Dale Meadows, 73, formerly of Barberton-Norton, Ohio, passed away April 20, 2018 at his home in Annamoriah, WV.
He was born February 1, 1945 in Parkersburg, WV, the son of the late Oris D. and Sylvia B. Meadows. He was a 1963 graduate of Wirt County High School and retired with 30 years from B&W in Barberton, Ohio. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and his dog Studly.
Roger is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary (Judy) Bell Meadows; three sons, Roger Dale Meadows Jr. (Cathy) of Norton, Ohio, Kenneth D. Meadows of Annamoriah, WV and Aaron J. Meadows (Ashley) of Barberton, Ohio; and one daughter Belinda M. Scott (Ronnie) of Port St Lucie, Florida; 12 grandchildren, Kitiara Edwards (Jordan), Angel, Brian, Shane, Raven, Cheri Meadows, Nathan Scott (Nicole), Veronica Coburn (Michael), Sophie and Bella Meadows, Tiffany Kirkpatric and Rob Johnson; 6 great-grandchildren; one brother Larry Meadows (Christina) of Sarasota, FL; and 3 sisters, Pat Nida (Wayne), Peggy Hacker (Darrell) and Maysel Miller (David) of Creston, WV
In lieu of a funeral service, a celebration of life memorial will be held on May 19, 2018, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Creston Community Building. |
