Deborah Kay Ray, 56, of Chloe, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at CAMC - Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She was born June 30, 1961 at Spencer, a daughter of the late William George and Janice Elaine Drake Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald W. Conley and Thomas D. Conley.
Deborah was a homemaker. She was a former employee of Kellwood Corp. and Roane County COA both of Spencer and Geary Elementary/Middle School, Left Hand. Her hobbies included horses, sewing, and painting, cooking and making apple butter.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Ray of Chloe; son, Travis Conley of Orma; stepson, Joseph Ray of Chloe; stepdaughter, Hannah Atkins of Clay; sister, Cindy Doumont of Grantsville; sister-in-law, Loretta Conley of Nebo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Gary Drake officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
