Harley Junior Lynch, 93 of Parkersburg passed away April 12, 2018 at Cedar Grove Assisted Living.
He was born October 28, 1924 in Grantsville, WV, son of the late Harley Okey and Ada Jarvis Lynch. He was a graduate of Calhoun County High School and served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired from Jewel Tea Company after 25 years of service. Harley was an elder at Beechwood Heights Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Roger (Sharon) Lynch of Vienna, WV; three grandchildren, Courtney Leslie of Hugoton, KS, Jennifer Lockhart of Vienna, WV and Joseph (Lindsey) Lynch of Williamstown, WV; five great-grandchildren, Hanna and Moriah Leslie of Hugoton, KS, Sophie Lockhart of Vienna, WV and Gage and Ollie Lynch of Williamstown, WV; two brothers and one sister, Donald Lynch of Beavercreek, OH, Denver Lynch of Vienna, WV and Jean Lynch of Parkersburg, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-mother, Ullainee Lynch; three spouses, Donna Ruth Pratt Lynch, (Helen) Dolores Sheppard Lynch and (Margaret) Helen Lynch; daughter, Sandra Kay Lynch; step-son, William "Fred" Stroehman; step-grandson, Casey Stroehman; and one brother and two sisters, Delbert Lynch, Grace Murdayne Harrison and Leanna Lynch.
The family wishes to thank Cedar Grove Assisted Living and Amedisys Hospice for their loving care in his final days.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p. m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Minister Kyle Jolly officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. |
