A man who lead deputies on a chase in a stolen car is facing several charges.
According to Roane County Sheriff's deputies David Andrew White, III was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
The car was stolen in Clendenin.
The vehicle was spotted Tuesday morning around 10:30 a.m. and a pursuit started at Elk Road, going to I-79 and Spencer Road. It involved the Kanawha Sheriff's Department and the Clendenin Police Department.
Officers lost the vehicle, but ended up arresting White at his parents' home in Walton Tuesday.
That is where they found the stolen 2005 Chevy Trailblazer parked behind the home.
White is facing a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle in Roane County.
In Clendenin, he is expected to be charged with grand larceny of a vehicle, felony fleeing, and driving on a suspended license. |
