| Sgt. Robert James Kennedy, 74, of Reedy, WV passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Paterson, NJ on December 29, 1943, a son of the late John and Agnes Anderson Kennedy.
He is survived by wife, Rita Kennedy of Reedy, WV; daughters Terry Mahn of Jefferson Twp., PA and Kim Santerre, Lake Huntington, NY; sister, Patricia Eletto of Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He worked for Charles Eletto, Perma Construction Co., and DalZell's Trucking and Rigging Co. in Patterson, NJ for 18 years.
He was a Corporal in the US Marine Corps serving 5 years in Viet Nam during two tours of duty. He was also a Sergeant in the Army National Guard for 15 years in Riverdale, NJ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters Coreen Kennedy and Erin Kennedy.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lester Tanner officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Following cremation, interment will be in Orma UMC Cemetery.
