A woman was found dead in a Walton area, Roane County, house fire after flames tore through a home on Charleston Road.
The 65 year old has been identified as Sandra Holt.
The fire was reported to 911 about 7 p.m. Wednesday to the mobile home.
Firefighters said after they got the flames under control and were able to go inside, finding the adult body. They believe the person died of smoke inhalation.
At this time, it is unclear what started the fire.
A fire investigator with the West Virginia Fire Marshal's office is headed to the scene.
According to Walton Volunteer Fire Chief John Kelley, most of the damage was contained to the inside of the trailer.
