| Calhoun County students who placed first in the county social studies fair in February qualified to compete in the Regional Social Studies Fair at Parkersburg High School on March 17.
Maddox Siwicki whose project "The California Gold Rush"
took 1st place at Regionals in the U.S. History division
Quinn Bunch took 3rd place in the Psychology division at
Regionals with her project titled "Amelia Earhart's Impact"
Maddox Siwicki and Quinn Bunch, third graders from Pleasant Hill Elementary placed at the regional fair. All first place winners will move on to the West Virginia State Social Studies Fair in Charleston on April 27.
Also eligible to compete at the Regional Fair from PHE
were Cooper Morris, Kayleigh Poling and Courtney Blosser.
