HUNTINGTON SHOOTING-DEATH - One person is dead and another wounded after a shooting in Huntington.
911 dispatchers tell 13 News it happened on 11th Avenue Sunday afternoon. Huntington Police confirm there were two people shot in the incident. A male has died. The other victim, a female, was transported with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are not releasing the victim's names pending notification of family. Both victims were shot inside the same home.
Huntington Police say they're interviewing witnesses and actively searching for a suspect.
CHARLESTON SHOOTING - Charleston Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was found shot several times on Berkeley Street after a disturbance call.
Lt. Autumn Davis says police responded to Berkeley Street around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday and found the victim lying in the road. Police say he had gunshot wounds to his stomach and chest area.
The victim was taken to CAMC General where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say the victim has been identified as Tremaine Dushay Nathan, 32, of Charleston.
No arrests have been made.
CHARLESTON ARMED ROBBERY - Charleston Police say three people were arrested Saturday after reportedly holding a victim at gunpoint and robbing him.
Police say it happened on Farnsworth Drive in Charleston about 10:00 Saturday morning near the cemetery.
Police say the victim, 27-year-old Steven Paul King from Cross Lanes, told them he was pistol whipped and robbed of his watch and his wallet with cash in it.
Police report arresting 36-year-old Ronald Terrell Jr from Fayette, WV, 43-year-old Roseley Smith from South Charleston and 28-year-old Emily Hammonds from Cross Lanes. All of them are charged with 1st degree robbery.
Police say King and the suspects were known to each other.
