Calhoun Kids...
Sad you missed Dr. Seuss Day?
Missing your friends?
Like pizza?
Calhoun County Prosecuting Attorney Shannon Johnson invites all Calhoun County elementary school children to the Calhoun Courthouse on Monday, March 5, 2018, for free lunch and a Dr. Seuss Read Aloud Event.
Prosecutor Johnson will provide pizza beginning at noon (12 p.m.) in the Circuit Courtroom on the third floor of the Calhoun County Courthouse.
After reading aloud a book or two, the group will walk to the Calhoun County Library to meet Librarian Amy Norman and sign up for library cards. Parents and siblings are encouraged to attend. Teachers - we know you are missing your "kids" as well - come join us!
Please note: This event will only take place in case of school cancellation on Monday.
Parent signatures are required for a library card.
Please RSVP to the Calhoun County Prosecutor's Facebook page so we may estimate how many pizzas to purchase. Parents - number of adults cannot be guaranteed, so your presence to assist with supervision would be welcomed. The event will end at the Calhoun County Library in Grantsville. Event will last approximately one hour to one and a half hours. |
