Alfred Eugene McCune, 64, of Spencer, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
He was born July 29, 1953, at Spencer, a son of the late Ervin Gay and Ida Waggoner Wilson McCune.
Alfred worked for BPB for 18 years and Chandler's Lumber Company.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dawn Lynn McCune of Spencer; two sons, Christopher M. McCune of Beech Bottom and Clayton G. McCune of Newport, Ark.; sister, Anna Marie Reynolds of Spencer; three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary, Larry and Ronnie McCune, John and Herbert Wilson; sister, Ruth Ann Nichols.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 4 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Brother Bill Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Swank Cemetery at Speed.
The visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
