| Richard Allen Harold, 65, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on February 23, 2018 in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marjorie Smith Harold; brothers, Mike and Dean; sister, Toni Laredo all of Florida.
Survivors include his wife, of 39 years, Shelia Backus Harold of Spencer; sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Garry Bender of Spencer; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, June and Jim Brannon of Spencer, Jerri and Kim Rogers of Ohio, Terri Backus of Scott Depot; nieces and nephews, Lindsey and Matthew "Petey" Bender, Keeley and Cody Backus, Ayla Rogers, John and Jamie Brannon; "our little ones," Eli, Kamryn and Emma Brannon; and since their childhood, Mikol and Matt Schoolcraft.
Rick has been cremated, at his request, and a "Get Together" for family and friends will be from 2-4 P.M. Sunday, February 25 at the St. John's United Methodist Church, Spencer.
