| Thomas "Tom" Eugene Jurkovich, Sr., 58, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away after a short illness, peacefully at The Hubbard House in Charleston, West Virginia. He departed his earthly home on February 15, 2018.
He was born in Homestead, Virginia to the late Freddie Joe and Barbara McLaughlin Jurkovich on July 25, 1959.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Jurkovich.
Tom is survived by his sons, Thomas (Amanda) Jurkovich, Jr. and Isaiah Pettry; his two brothers, Daniel (Regina) Jurkovich and Timothy (Kathy) Jurkovich; and the love of his life, Angie Silket. He had four grandchildren he adored, Madison Fayth, Brooklyn Hope, Peighton Grace, and Clayton Jack. He also had three step-granddaughters, four nephews and a niece.
The family of Thomas Jurkovich, Sr. wish to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of CAMC CPICU, the Hubbard House, and all of his dear friends who have helped him and us get through this trying time.
Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 pm Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia. After the visitation, Tom's wishes were to be cremated and buried near his family. |
