CAMP DAWSON INCIDENT - A man is behind bars, after allegedly threatening to ram his car through the gates at Camp Dawson so he could get to his wife and kill her.
The Dominion Post reports that 35-year-old John Richard Henson is charged with attempted murder in the case.
They cite a criminal complaint when reporting Henson allegedly texted his wife, Wednesday, saying he was coming to her work to shoot her. He showed up at the gate and was told to leave. That's when he allegedly revved the engine and threatened to ram the gate.
Security officers were able to get him to turn around and drive away. Officers then cornered him on a road and arrested him. They found a gun in his car.
Henson is now in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bond set at $500,000. |
