A tractor trailer shut down Route 50 east bound after it overturned on the highway Tuesday morning.
911 officials said emergency crews were dispatched to the Amick Turn area just after midnight.
Pennsboro and Ritchie County Fire Departments, Ritchie County Ambulance Authority, West Virginia State Police and Ritchie County Sheriff's Department all responded to the call.
Route 50 East Bound will remain closed throughout the morning as crews work to clean up the scene. East bound traffic will be detoured through Glendale Road.
One person was treated at the scene. |
