Elizabeth Ann Hensley Lane, 47, of Newton, West Virginia, passed away January 31, 2018 at her residence.
She was born April 15, 1970 at Ripley, the daughter of Homer and Margarett Hicks Hensley.
Ann was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending all her time with family especially her grandchildren that brought much joy to her life.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth Ann is survived by her loving husband, Everett Ray Lane of Dixie; sons, Justin (Michele) Simmons and Chaz Simmons both of Spencer; daughter, Mary (Matt) Ash also of Spencer; step children, Jeremy (Mary) Lane of Craigsville and Angie Boggs of Huntington; brothers, Homer (Margee) Hensley, Jr. and Bryan (Diane) Hensley both of Spencer; six grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Audrey, Eli and Gracie Simmons, Colton and Maliyah Ash and Autumn Simmons; five step grandchildren, Jeremy, Kaden, Sierra, Aliaunna, Kailynn and her precious fur baby, A.J.; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many many friends.
A celebration of Ann's life was conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 4 at the Faith Baptist Church, Spencer, with Pastor Justin Simmons officiating. Burial was in the Hicks Cemetery, Little Creek Road, Spencer.
Pallbearers were Matt Ash, Warren Hensley, Chancee Hensley, Russell Hensley, Jeremy Lane and Willie Lane.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
