| Darrell Lee Alvis, 89, of Spencer, passed away January 31, 2018, at home.
He was born September 19, 1928 at Spencer, the son of the late Delbert and Zelma Norman Alvis.
Mr. Alvis was a former employee of Monarch Rubber and the Spencer Hospital. He belonged to the church, one Christ built.
Survivors include his sons, Delbert, Gary and the Rev. David Alvis; daughters, Sharon Bevel, Sherry Whytsell and Teresa Casto.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 3 at the Clover Cemetery, Clover, with the Rev. David Alvis officiating. There will be no visitation.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangments.
