| Walter Edward "Ed" Mueller, 85, of Spencer, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Roane General Hospital in Spencer.
He was born October 22, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky, a son of the late Walter Joseph and Dorothy Wigginton Mueller. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff Mueller of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, Joe (Penny) Mueller , also of Mt. Washington, and Mike (Tonya) Mueller of Louisville; daughters, Tammy (Dan) Janes of Louisville, Lori (Gerry) Bunner of Spencer, Christina Rich of Louisville, and Judi Parker and Barbie Mueller, both of Sellersburg, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; Heather Haysley, Jason Haysley, Ashleigh Jurkovich, Nathaniel Parker, Ryan Parker, Emily Parker, Lacie Frazier, Lindsey Cruz, Devin Mueller, Nelson Mueller, Destiny Mueller, Mikayla Mueller, Katelyn Rich and Krista Rich; seven great-grandchildren; Haylie Haysley, Donnie Cook, Faith Mueller, Brookelyn Jurovich, Lailah Hawkins-Frazier, Ki Wallen and Daisy Drury.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria McDonald Mueller; his eldest son Walter Edward "Bubby" Mueller II; an infant sister; and a brother Daniel Lee Mueller.
Per his wishes the body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at later date. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME in Spencer was in charge of the arrangements.
