We get lots of e-mail from those of you who are stuck in warmer climates, yearning
for a look at winter in Sunny Cal. While winter, at least in severity, has been blasé
for the past six years, we do get blasts of cold temperatures and a covering of
snow.
The really big snow is overdue.
Yesterday was a snow day, covering the pines and trees around the Executive Suite
of The Hur Herald. Not much accumulation, but quite beautiful.
We claim to have a weather anomaly in the Village of Hur. We have more of it than
anywhere else in the county, whatever it may be - snow, rain, wind, storms.
So, here is a view from the Weaver's front yard.
